Beef Barbeque tickets on sale now! Saturday August 10th is the big day!

For decades, the Farmers Helping Farmers Barbeque has brought together our community of caring people to create and share an amazing meal, to help FHF improve the lives of thousands of Kenyan families.

There are many ways in which you can show your support and we appreciate them all.

First, please buy tickets!

Email farmershelpingfarmerspei@gmail.com, call or email a board member, or pick them up at our friends Van Kampen’s, the Farm Centre, Riverview Market, and Judy Loo at the Farmers Market. ($35/adult, $10/child)

And pass on the word to family, friends, and neighbours!

If you have time, please come help! We need people to….

Bring salads!  Help build our famous 50-foot salad bar.

Bake a shortcake!  We need 30 – classic recipe (below)

Prep veggies that day! We have to get hundreds of pounds of fresh-from-the-field veggies ready, starting at 1:00 pm.

Bring supplies!  We need paring knives and peelers, cutting boards, bowls, dish cloths, tablecloths with African prints, salt and pepper shakers, and cooking pots.

Cook, serve, clean up, and wash up!
