Farmers Helping Farmers work in Kenya receives international recognition for good practice, innovation and impact

22 September 2026 – Farmers Helping Farmers (FHF) was delighted to learn from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations that their work empowering small scale women farmers and partner schools in Kenya was to be recognized at the FAO Global Conference For Actions On One Health In Agrifood Systems. The Recognition Team was pleased to inform FHF they had been selected to receive the Recognition for Good Practices and Innovations in One Health in Agrifood Systems. 

The recognition acknowledges initiatives that demonstrate practical application, measurable impact and a strong contribution to advancing the One Health approach in agrifood systems. FHF’s work was noted to be “an important example of how innovation and good practice can help build more sustainable, resilient, inclusive and healthy agrifood systems.”
