Potluck Supper to Celebrate Kenyan visitors – this Sunday 5:00 p.m. at the Farm Centre

kenyan-visitors-1Farmers Helping Farmers is excited to welcome a delegation of five Kenyan visitors representing the government of Meru County, the area where the P.E.I. non-profit group has worked for the last 15 years.
 
The group includes the Honourable Jennifer Murogocho, the Chairperson of the Education Committee in Meru County and a long-time partner with Farmers Helping Farmers. Several high-ranking Meru County politicians are joining her on P.E.I. including the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, the Leader of the Majority Party, a Member of the Speakers Panel and a legal officer for Meru County.
 
We are having a potluck supper to welcome our Kenyan visitors and we're hoping you can join us.  
 
We are also looking for food contributions - with a detailed list below.
 
For those of you who have travelled to Kenya and have met Jennifer Murogocho, this is a great oppportunity to say "karibu"!
 
Farmers Helping Farmers members, families and friends are welcome.
 
The potluck will be held at the Farm Centre in Charlottetown on Sunday October 30th, with the meal at 5:30.
