Farmers Helping Farmers is excited to welcome a delegation of five Kenyan visitors representing the government of Meru County, the area where the P.E.I. non-profit group has worked for the last 15 years.The group includes the Honourable Jennifer Murogocho, the Chairperson of the Education Committee in Meru County and a long-time partner with Farmers Helping Farmers. Several high-ranking Meru County politicians are joining her on P.E.I. including the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, the Leader of the Majority Party, a Member of the Speakers Panel and a legal officer for Meru County.
We are having a potluck supper to welcome our Kenyan visitors and we're hoping you can join us.
We are also looking for food contributions - with a detailed list below.
For those of you who have travelled to Kenya and have met Jennifer Murogocho, this is a great oppportunity to say "karibu"!
