Thanksgiving fundraiser returns in 2021

How thankful are we for Chef Emily Wells!

Her Thanksgiving Weekend fundraising suppers are back for 2021.

Farmers Helping Farmers is delighted to partner again with Chef Emily Wells and her team at The Mill in New Glasgow. The money raised by Emily’s meals will support the work of the Farmers Helping Farmers Education committee, including school food programs.

In a year where Farmers Helping Farmers, again, has had to cancel several major fundraisers because of COVID-19, we are more grateful than ever for the support of Chef Emily, and everyone who comes out to enjoy her meals in support of our work in Kenya.

Last year, the event raised an amazing $10,000, the biggest donation ever.

Those fundraising dollars were put to an important purpose at schools in Kenya, providing two reusable masks per student, as well as liquid soap for hand washing stations at FHF twinned schools.

We hope that the Fall Harvest Suppers will be as successful in 2021!
