Farm Day in the City was the place to be on Sunday October 1, 2023, as Queen Street in Charlottetown was packed with displays and excited visitors, including many from three visiting cruise ships.
Farmers Helping Volunteers set up a colourful display, including copies of Broken Crayons by Patsy Dingwell.
There were also live chickens, along with information about the new Farmers Helping Farmers poultry project in Kenya. The chickens were definitely a hit, especially with some of the children checking out the display!
There were even Farmers Helping Farmers stickers!
Thanks to Ilse for organizing and all of the volunteers who helped create the colourful display to help spread the word about Farmers Helping Farmers and the work we do in Kenya.
Asante sana! Many thanks.
